Last night, the vibrant heart of Newcastle's West End came alive once again with the return of a much-anticipated art event. Curated by the talented team at Hung Supply, Wester Gallery played host to an extraordinary exhibition that had us all in awe.

More than a brand, Hung Supply is motivated by the intersections of cities, people and sub-cultures and exists to influence creative output within these spaces. An assemblage of images from Hung Supply’s global creative community, DEPOSITORY consists of daily observations and street scenes predominantly shot on 35mm + 120 film.

The walls of Wester Gallery were transformed into a canvas, adorned with captivating works by some of our most cherished local and international photographers. The exhibition's theme? Gritty and filmic photography, a visual journey that transported us into the intriguing world of analog storytelling.

As we stepped into the gallery, our eyes were treated to a feast of visual delights. Each photograph told a unique story, capturing moments frozen in time with an unmistakable filmic quality. Armed with refreshing Pals and Steel City beverages, we embarked on a journey through this bustling artistic space. It was a night of connections and camaraderie, as we mingled and bumped shoulders with some of Newcastle's most brilliant minds and creative souls. The energy in the room was palpable, a testament to the magnetic pull of art in our lives.
