CURRENTLY SHOWING 'BODYACHE' BY BRONTË NAYLOR 6 - 21 DECEMBER 2024/

Brontë Naylor is an early-career multidisciplinary artist working across so-called Australia, engaging in expanded painting modalities that include spatial installation, ceramics, photography, performance, and digital media. Naylor’s work explores themes of grief, the reverse ruins of modernity, and mourning in relation to entropic built environments. Central to her practice is the concept of ‘displacement’—examining how materials, resources, belonging, ownership, ideas, and histories intersect and blur within both a piece and a place. Naylor aims to collapse time within her work, holding the past, present, and future in adjacent, layered ways.
