Paula is Wiradjuri living on Awabakel land and is a local emerging artist in Newcastle with a studio in Tighes Hill. As a visual artist, Paula predominately a painter (acrylic) will incorporate text, collage and found and discarded objects in exploring a theme. Her work is exuberant celebrating bold colours, canvas staining and illustration.
In the past Paula has exhibited in group shows in Newcastle and in Sydney. As one of five graduates selected from the National Art School in 2023, she was invited to exhibited at .M Contemporary Gallery, Darlinghurst in the Gallery’s annual Emerging Artists Exhibition in 2024. Prior to completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School Paula attended the Newcastle Hunter Street Art School (TAFE).
