In Gone Fishin’, Hannah brings her signature playful style to the seaside, blending the familiar relaxation of fishing with unexpected twists. Set against the backdrop of Newcastle’s coastal charm, this series features quirky characters—including birds fishing with worms—highlighting the often absurd, yet intimate, relationships we share with nature.

Hannah draws on personal experience and the local environment to create works that are both joyful and thought-provoking. With her trademark originality, she invites viewers into a world where reality bends and boundaries blur—where humour, nature, and quiet moments collide.

Hannah Goggs is a mixed media Australian artist currently living in Warwick, Queensland. Hannah is the creator and mind behind the brand Moody Rabbit. Hannah works under this name from her home studio where she makes an assortment of wares including artwork, pottery and homewares.

Hannah’s subject matters range from Australian botanicals, ornithology and sometimes quirky characters, she enjoys pushing the boundaries between what is reality and what is not. This is a lifestyle choice made by Hannah; mornings usually consist of pottery and screen printing and the afternoons and evenings for painting. Having completed Cert 3 in Horticulture, her inspiration comes naturally from her surroundings and can be influenced by colour, mood, emotion and season. A sweet, kind natured lady, Hannah’s work is always evolving and changing and each piece is uniquely handmade and designed by her. Her current future plan is to expand her practice, build relationships with clients and galleries across Australia.
